DW Custom Drum Kit (Chad Wackerman) This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to purchase the best DW drums that money can buy and is a very reluctant sale as we have to relocate overseas in September, 2016. I purchased this kit directly from Chad Wackerman (Allan Holdsworth, Frank Zappa, Barbra Streisand) while he was living here in Sydney, Australia in 1998. Chad used this kit to record his solo album 'The View' at Capitol Records in Los Angeles and it was also used on the Allan Holdsworth tour of Australia and Japan in 1997 The shells were hand selected by Chad and long time friend John Good of Drum Workshop, and is the actual kit that appears in the DW catalogue photo. One of a kind. DW stamp the fundamental 'note' of the shell on the inside wall of each shell. Some of these shells do not have this marking, as they were custom hand made for Chad. After the purchase of this kit, I used it to record two albums at Sony Studios, Hargrave Street, Sydney and then they were packed up and put into storage in 1999 and have been there since. DW 5000 Bass Drum Pedal (Single) DW 5000 Bass Drum Pedal (Single) DW Snare Stand DW Tom Mount DW Cymbal Stands x 3 DW Tom Arm DW Cymbal Arms x 1 DW Extra Large Drum Throne. DW Cable Hi-hat (average condition) 22" x 18" Anvil Bass Drum Case (1 Only) The drums are in excellent condition with only 1 scratch on the 10 x 12 tom only visible from the playing position as shown in the photos. The bass drum hoops have a couple of 'bite' marks from the bass drums pedals, on the pedal side only, also shown in the photos. I will also include a box of spare: brand new / some used Evans drum heads & a spare black DW Logo front bass drum head. Sonically, these drums are incredible and beautifully crafted. Local pick-up is welcome, and I am prepared to ship domestically and worldwide. Please contact for a packing and shipping quote, the shipping amount on Ebay is incorrect. I don't want to have to sell this kit, but as I am forced to, they need to find a proper home, who will look after them and enjoy them, serious players, collectors, buyers only please.
