Steel Pan from Trinidad Lead Steel Pan Drum w/stand and mallets 2 1/3 octaves D-F# . The basic pan was started in Trinidad, then finished and tuned by former Panyard tuner, Dave Gettes. I bought it from Dave around 15 years ago. It has seen little use, as I never really committed to learning how to play it. It comes with a stand and mallets. At one point the stand broke but was repaired. It’s intact now, but I can’t vouch for how long.These instruments are handmade and typically take many hours to hammer and tune. This accounts for the good ones costing quite a bit. You can listen to it in the following recording. Be sure to listen through quality speakers or headphones.
