Antique Vintage 1907 Gibson Style U Harp Guitar Plays Beautiful Shape Needs Minor TLC 16 String Model Lush Tones Deep Bass Functional Museum Piece. Needs fret board work and some minor repair on body.The strangest thing about these Gibson U Harp is how absolutely beautiful it plays & sounds. Its needs some TLC yes but you can still play this U Harp as is. Its 110 years old folks and to have such beautiful lush tones is just mind boggling. Deep bass and sparkly highs! Its very pleasing to ears! This particular Gibson U Harp is going to need some minor work. I was going to get this repaired here in Los Angeles but I just don’t want to deal with it now. It needs a few frets, fret board work, possibly some bridge & body work as you can see. With such an old precious instrument I would recommend experienced hands.I always though these where more of display thing or museum piece or something but it’s a functioning, beautiful sounding, work of art! This Gibson U Harp is in great shape for its age. It’s been played normally but mostly been in storage for decades. All relatively light wear. The Gibson U Harp guitar has minor superficial dings, scratches, wear and tear around various parts of the guitar. Typical of a guitar of this age. As with any guitar that’s been sitting in storage it going to need new strings and set up. Please consider this when bidding on my items. Its vintage folks and anything this old could need a minor tune up.
