Rare Vintage 1948 National Valco Chicagoan Lap Steel Guitar == Closet Classic First Year Production == Excellent or better condition with some slight wear at edges of "fretboard", and a small ding by the output plug (I had to remove the plug to resolder the center lead - and forgot to put the washer on it -- and I dinged it, darn! Washer and retainer in case) == Very cool old-style enclosed "National tuners" == All Original and Complete except one knob and 3 solder joints from fixing output so it would play! == Stackpole pots date 1947, serial number in late 1948 range == Electronics working with some buzz that goes mostly away as Volume knob is turned up == Includes original & intact Geib chipboard case, and original cable PLUS Rare original National Tuning Guide! == Really nice condition -- not just for a 69 year old guitar -- really nice, period! == We ship worldwide ==
