It has very low action of 2.5 mm under E6 and 2.20 mm under E1. In order to achieve such action on this guitar I had to sand down the slotted part of a bridge and the saddle. This job left couple of very tiny cosmetic imperfections on a bridge which can be seen only from a very close distance. Later on I installed clear golpe plate, flamenco strings and played this guitar for few hours. For that reason I offer this guitar as “used” one. I offer this terrific guitar at such greatly discounted price hoping to receive a terrific feedback in return. This guitar is all solid woods, super high grade instrument, easy to play, very responsive, producing extra clear and crispy, resonating well balanced notes, at very high volume. Like all other guitars with Maple b/s it has great shorter sustain, however shorter when compared to guitars with Rosewood b/s. This guitar can be used in flamenco and many other rhythmic styles. It will prove to you that very high grade instruments can be made anywhere in the world regardless of nationality of the luthier. This model easily challenges all "luthier made" guitars with maple b/s priced $8000-$10000. Bird's Eye maple has the hardest wood and is the hardest to acquire among all maples. It's been used for centuries to make fine guitars by famous European luthiers. Its wood has always been very expensive and guitars made from it priced very high. Guitars with this maple b/s made nowdays by US or European luthiers are priced at least $8000. Felix Marin plays his original compositions on El Vito Concert Rs, El Vito Concert Js and El Vito Concert BM guitars: Sunrise Fly By Night One Day Solo Flight For Silvana Court Dance Sunlit Somewhat Blue Reflections of You Light of My Life Green Pastures Changes The Lord Is My Shepperd Letting Go Never Give Up A song from a "Secret Garden" and "Romance de Amor" played by "String Guy" on El Vito Concert F guitar: El Vito Concert RS and Concert RC are great alternative for ambitious players with limited funds. If compared by tonality, note colors, clarity and sustain, El Vito Concert R models are not far behind Concert JS or Concert JC. In mathematical terms the difference is really no greater than 10%-15%. At current promotional prices Concert R models are a real bargain for what they really offer to a player. Their sound and playbility will turn the toughest sceptic into a believer. Specifications: Top: High Grade AAAA Solid Engelmann Spruce with Ramirez style transverse bracing Back and sides: Solid Bird's Eye Maple Finish: glossy, but very light coat of Polyurethane Neck: Spanish Cedar with African Ebony insert Neck/body joint: Spanish Heel Fingerboard: African ebony Completely black ebony is practically unavailable on international markets. Currently luthiers around the world are using ebony that is not uniform in color, but can contain different shades of black and grey and well as spots of different colors. Bridge: Ebony/ not painted Experienced luthiers know that bridge that is not coated with thick layer of lacquer transfers the sound much better. Scale: 650 mm Nut width: 52 mm Tuners: High Grade Gold Plated Nut & Saddle: Bone Strings: <
