Willson 2400TA Tenor Horn – E-flat, silver plate (used instrument) Product DescriptionThis is a used Willson 2400TA tenor horn in E-flat (serial number: 5070). This tenor horn has a silver finish and was built in 2008. The instrument belonged to a customer and friend of the business who is no longer playing. We re-purchased the instrument back in May 2015. It has had only one previous owner and is in very good condition. The player looked after the instrument very well and serviced it regularly.This is the standard version without a trigger. The instrument was supplied new by us in 2008 and the new price today is £3,400.00.The instrument has been serviced as necessary prior to sale. Our brass technician was responsible for the refurbishment, and the result is very good; the instrument plays well and the valves and slides are in very good order. The instrument is not supplied with a mouthpiece. We stock many suitable mouthpieces. Please express your interest prior to finalising payment if you would like us to include a mouthpiece or additional brass accessories.The instrument will be supplied in a Courtois case (as shown in the photos). ConditionThe instrument has been serviced as necessary by our brass technicians and the instrument remains in excellent working and blowing order. The condition of the silver plate is very good indeed. There are no noticeable signs of wear anywhere. The instrument has some very faint scratches on the bell flare but these are almost not worth mentioning and there are no dings/dents to be found.The case is fully functional. Cosmetically there are some very minor scuff marks and some dirt/paint marks on the upper surface (see photo). Returns/Warranty If on initial inspection you are disappointed in any way, you may return it and receive a full refund. You are most welcome to visit and test the instrument in our playing room prior to making a commitment.We will offer the instrument with a full mechanical warranty for three months, as is standard with second hand instruments, but only a limited cosmetic warranty. The cosmetic warranty is limited to significant issues DeliveryInland UK shipping: FREEIt will be well packed before shipping and sent Business Post courier (inland UK only, which excludes Scottish Highlands), and will require a signature on delivery (next day service).
