It has some extravagant carving on the heel and on the back of the headstock. It has beautiful inlay throughout the headstock and fretboard along with “Highland” written in inlay. The banjo has a nice bright tone, and plays well up and down the neck with no buzz. I was very surprised at the sound and how well built it is for an imported banjo. Great volume and tone, just set it up with new strings and it’s ready to rip. It has a gold clamshell tailpiece, and all hardware is gold, including the etched armrest. It seems to be a special one and I have never seen another one like it. It is solid and heavy, weighing in at between 9 and 10 pounds. This banjo in near perfect condition and is an incredible banjo for this price. The pictures don't lie, but I did have a problem with reflections in taking them. Please look at the pictures and ask any questions. Comes with a heavy duty well built case in excellent condition, tho one clasp has a spring problem and wont stay up, but does catch and stay closed.
