Roland Sandner comes from an established dynasty of makers which has been active in Mittenwald and Bubenreuth for several generations. He trained, among others, in the firm of J&A Beare in London and taught for many years in the State Academy of Violin Making in Mittenwald whilst continuing the successful family workshop.
