Up for Auction is a Very Cool little Tweed 5F1 clone Amplifier.. It started out as a Custom Built Amp from Luthier Bill Hardin of Bear Creek Guitars.. ( He said he only made a handful of these).. He Started with Bandmate USA , lacquered Tweed Custom cabinet.. Then all top quality components and chassis to create the clone.. It sounded Great like most clone or kits for sale out there.. I Really wanted something amazing, so I called Ben Fargen of Fargen Amps, Told him what I wanted and shipped it to California.. Ben threw it all In the trash and started over using Mercury Magnetics Transformer and Choke, Complete Hand wiring, Fargen Heavy Duty Monster Speaker cable, Brown Sound "Hemp" Tone Tubby Speaker, and added a "Boost" switch.. He Hand selected a set of tubes and Shipped it back.. Awesome service!!! I had this done in late 2012 and I'm not sure if he still does this service anymore.. If you Don't Know about Ben Fargen, Check out the stuff he does for which artist.. Very cool! This little Monster includes Fargen and Mercury Magnetics metal tags (I didn't install them)and a Heavy Cloth Cover.. It has 2 small holes on the top from where I relocated the leather carry strap to fit the cover..(can be seen in the last photo) I felt a cover was more important than a couple small holes. THIS THING SCREAMS and has amazing tone a clarity.. Crank it up and it gets Gritty / Dirty!! Takes pedals real well if your into that.. YOU WONT BE DISSAPOINTED !!!! Nothing wrong with it , I'm just Thinning the Herd.. Sold "AS ADVERTISED" NO RESERVE, NO RETURNS, USA ONLY!!! Look at the photo's and ask questions.. Thanks for looking.** This will be boxed extremely well, Tubes removed , insured, signature required!! I have Shipped many High Ticket items with 100% success.. I also have several extra tubes that were tested by Ben that I will include.. You can try them to get some different tones.. * I will mark the tubes I'm using now separate from the spares..** This is listed locally and I may end the auction early if sold
