1953 Martin Guitar 0-18 133315 small body as is for repair This guitar is playable but needs work to bring back the original sound. I took this guitar to a local guitar shop to have it checked out.They said the bridge had been reglued on and that the frets are in excellent condition and may have been replaced. I took it to Martin guitar home after 63 years in Nazareth Pa, had a tech give me a verbal evaluation.He said it is a 1953. The bridge had been shaved down and reglued. He recommended having the bridge replaced and the neck reset. Also the neck has a slight bow and this would be optional to have the frets replaced with new different thickness ones to have a perfect straight neck. The total repairs would be about $1500. Inside is stamped C.F. MARTIN & Co. NAZARETH PA0-18 133315 I decided to sell this guitar as is for parts or reconditioning. It comes with a case but it is not the original case. The body does have some scratches.I do not see any cracks! The finish is very nice and was very well taken of over the last 63 years! after the pictures were taken, I had it restrung at a guitar store and they confirmed the neck has a bow when the strings are tightened. The owner played it and it had a very nice sound but He did confirm the bridge should be replaced. he put the original black pins in one is missing and he put a white one in, he did not have any black ones in stock. Local pickup is free at zip 18049Or I am charging $100 for professional packing, insurance and shipping.Will ship UPS. Packed at an ups shipping store. Shipping is not refundable if the guitar is returned. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs. Sorry shipping only to USA. Will not ship overseas
