I love love love this bocal. This is a Heckel goldplated CC3 Bocal. I switched my bassoon and I don't need the number three length. In fact my new bassoon tends to play a little low in pitch. I'm now using a #1 or a #2 bocal depending on the situation. This Bocal is perfect with no dents or scratches and the cork is like new. It is supple and moist. If your bassoon plays a little high, you need this Bocal! It has a gorgeous sound, lovely hi register, responsive low notes and it will keep you from playing sharp!
