Straight from our brass (and silver) repair shop, our USED horns are brought back to life...All major dents are removed, joints re-soldered (if needed), patches repaired (if necessary) and the slides reworked.  Our horns may be buffed, but all are hand polished to a good shine and are in good playable condition.  We are proud to offer this refurbished instrument for sale. We have tried to describe it as it is, and are happy to answer any questions asked.  #55/2016Up for sale is a 1982(?) Bach Stradivarius Model 42 Trombone w/F Attachment, made by Vincent Bach Corporation, Elkhart Ind, USA.  Serial # 544xx.  The trombone has a traditional wrap and is made of yellow brass and solid nickel, The bell is 8 1/2", with bore .547. There are numerous small dings, small creases around the edge of the bell (see picture for example), scratching on the horn and some minor pitting at the grips...overall, it is in very good condition. The slide is very good and the stockings show very light wear. *Note: there is a small dink on one end of the inner slide tubes, but it does not affect the playability of the slide.  The valve has good compression.  This instrument is not lacquered and will need to be polished periodically, if played often (we recommend using Weiman METAL Polish). This trombone comes with a large shank mouthpiece and and will be shipped in an original case, which is in good condition.  The horn is typical of a Bach 42, a wonderful symphonic horn!...it has quick response, great intonation, and full,deep tones.  The Bell is close to the slide, as most Bach's are..may have to adjust a little to accommodate--not a big deal though.  This is great horn.Thanks for looking and check out our other items!775-301-6289Please note:  our usual shipping days are on Monday and/or Tuesday, but may be able to arrange shipping on other days if possible.  We try to accommodate if we can...! **Note if choosing FedEx, shipping must go to a physical address, not a PO Box.
