RARE Madrid Master Luthier Antonio L. Iznaola Classical: 1984, model 308/49, Class 1A. This is an all solid wood classical, hand made by one of Madrids masters, and in Very nice condition. Iznaola has a small shop “Iznaola Guitar Works” at Imperial 16 in Plaza Mayor, and also builds for other Madrid shops including I believe, The Conde shop. He specializes in concert and grand concert models but also produces fine flamenco instruments. This is a gorgeous example of his work, with very high quality materials and a keen eye to detail. It has been played and shows light play wear but as the pics attest, this guitar is beautiful !! I believe the top is solid spruce and the book matched back and sides are possibly granadillo. The neck features an ebony fretboard that shows only light wear. The rosette features butterflies, the nut is 3 layer? and the bridge is rosewood with a fancy inlay. Nice binding throughout. if you want a fine classical from a Madrid luthier, this is about as rare as they come :-). I cleaned it and installed a new set of D’Adario normal tensions. Including a simple hard case to protect it in shipping. As with all our fine instruments, we understand the bond between player and instrument and always offer a 14 day play/return policy with No restocking fee.
