This is a 1929 Style A Tenor Banjo, serial number 12015, in excellent condition and with excellent history. The instrument has been played professionally for over 40 years and has always been maintained in top notch condition. It was gold plated back in the seventies, when it became the primary banjo for Mike Currao (see 1973 photo of Mike playing the banjo). It was played for over 40 years by Mike who was inducted into the Banjo Hall of Fame in 2014.
