THANK YOU!As we all know dating these horns is not easy but I can say I have had this horn in my possession for over 25 years and dating the mint Lifton case and STAR model I would assume it was from the late 1960's. This horn has not had any real play time. I have only used it on a few gigs when my other horn was out for repair. It has 100 percent of it's original finish and there is still crosshatching on the valves. It's basically brand new (Time capsule) The Star model is one of the most sought after of the Couesnons and this one plays as you would expect, dark and smokey! I know I am pricing this horn above what the market asks but you would need a time machine to find another like it! The case is also so clean its hard to believe!Thanks for looking.
