I was a housekeeper for an old lady who had been a recluse and an invalid since her partner died. When she departed, the house was cleared and this was found with loads of other things - thick with dirt - in the attic. The house being a 16th century listed building had a load of things that the relatives didn't even recognise so it's a possibility that this cymbal was already there when she moved in during the 1950s. Although structurally it's ok it's very dirty needing someone who knows about cleaning them and I don't! It is stamped with: Avedis Zildjian Splash Cymbal Made in USA which is clear to someone with good eyesight - not me. It's 8'/2" in diameter and apparently has "a good tone" and I have been told it could be 1920s 30s
