The hot channel has a bit of hum due to its bypassing the tone stack and kicking ass. The clean channel is nice and quiet. I did test the amp just today and at idle there is a faint intermittent crackle happening. Sounds like a tube going bad, but easily addressed by the new owner no doubt.  The sound of this amp overdriven is unreal. Seriously big and aggressive sound for such a small amp. It would make an amazing recording amp overdriven, or a nice little combo for jazz with the volume turned down. It cleans up very nicely indeed. The lapsteel works great. The original pickup was not working so it was changed out for a new single coil. The original capacitor on the tone control was replaced but is included. The original tuners were replaced but the originals are included. Also, it includes an old period 1/4" cable and a real old blade slide. The hard case is in good shape.  There is a faint smell of mildew in the case lining so it could probably use a cleaning.
There is a bit of damage to the pearloid amplifier cabinet on the corners as photographed. There is also one silver sparkle stripe missing from the fins. The leather handle has been replaced with a period correct leather handle, using the original metal brackets. If you have any questions then please let me know. Sold as-is, no returns.
