Here is one of the sweetest and oldest Twin Reverbs we have had the pleasure of having... Amp has been used extensively with live gigging and recording and been carefully maintained ... Over the years the amp has been serviced with new filter caps, select tone caps, new A/C power cord, new power and pre-amp tubes. Additionally, one of the original Oxford speakers has been replaced with a period correct 63' Oxford... This amp sounds simply amazing on all levels. Reverb, and particularly the tremolo, are deep and wide. Because of the transitional period of these early Blackface Fenders, this Twin in particular has a true 80w output giving it everything from crisp and clean classic Fender bell tones, to an unusually killer over-driven tone when pushed hard. It has a "bluesy" compression at full volume which reminds us of the Tweed Twin or Brownface Pro... Definitely unique and flexible...Jazz, rock, blues, country, etc...it's all there. The amp is 100% stage and/or studio ready... Amp will ship with a non-original Vintage style Fender 2-Button foot switch...
