COLES 4038 RIBBON Microphone with 4071B Stand Mount AdaptorMint condition, hardly been used.This legendary microphone, developed by the BBC in the 50s, became a favourite of British recording engineers. Used extensively by The Beatles & Led Zeppelin, the 4038 is an essential mic for capturing drum overheads, brass instruments, guitar amps, vocals.... or just about anything! As Steve Albini says "if I owned one mic, this would be it".The mics come packed in custom foam support rigid travel cases with velvet pouches and a 4071B stand mount adaptor.
