Vendo per inutilizzo come nuovo raccato doppio preamp vintage neumann. Caratteristiche: The V472-2 is is a super high quality dual preamp from the german manufacturer Neumann. It is the solid state successor of the legendary V72 tube preamp, which is well known from the Beatles Pink Floyd and others. Stereo microphone preamplifier consists of two modules Neumann 472 with original components of the '60s: transformers Neumann, Haufe and opamp George Neumann (serial number of each component), both racked in a steel case with potentiometer. The entire unit was restored in January. The restoration (cost € 500) includes rewiring internal cables using silver, balanced inputs and outputs with gold-plated Neutrik connectors, new welding, shielding the connectors and the potentiometer and a NEW external triode power supply. The preamplifier is quiet and clean like new thanks to the meticulous restoration, but retains all its character. With the potentiometer to 50% gain the sound is clean and extremely detailed, with the full gain the sound becomes very colorful, warm, enveloping and "Tapey". Similar to the Neve 1073, but more colorful, less aggressive midrange, with warmer low and more high silkiness. With so much preamp gain this is one of the most colorful that you can find but unlike other vintage preamps it has NO buzz, mass, background noise. For most acoustic applications just keep potentiometer lowest and the sound immediately becomes cleaner and sweet. Up to 50db (about), so it is very usable even with dynamic and ribbon microphones. For the capacitors there is the phantom +48 (external), and attenuation pad that makes it usable even in line level, just to give "color" to already recorded tracks.
