Exceptional 1956 Gibson EM-150 Acoustic Electric mandolin for sale. This one is obviously the proverbial closet or under the bed find exhibiting no signs of being played and still has the original Gibson factory tags attached. All original condition with no apparent chips, dings, scratches, finish wear, or obvious play wear. The original tuners work well with no bent shafts or tarnish, however, as in most cases, the plastic buttons have shriveled and deteriorated due to age. This is a very common and cheap fix with replacement plastic buttons being readily available. If preferred, I will have them replaced for the buyer. The electronics are unmolested and work very well. Action is excellent with the neck being straight as new and the original adjustable Rosewood bridge comfortably adjusted about midway with room to raise or lower action as preferred. Comes with the original Pick up/amplifier cable and original alligator fiber case. There is really not much else to say about this mandolin as it is as clean and original example as one is apt to find with beautiful wood and finish and it looks and plays as new.
