No waiting for us to get to your order...this one goes right in and will be shippable in just 4 weeks time! We don't stock Upton Basses. The bass we build for you is YOUR bass, built for YOU in a way precious few things are these days. It's a process that begins with YOU, not a factory halfway around the world. Whether it is a one of a kind custom or our standard workshop model, it's all done just for you... From Our Website: The UB Standard Laminated Double Bass represents our entry-level upright bass, carefully conceived with the playability and resonance of all our models. We believe it is the most musical and finest built plywood double bass available at this price.The UB Standard Laminate is a round back fully plywood double bass. All of our plywood is made in-house from our own veneers. Its design is based on the gamba pattern of the Upton Bohemian Model. The Standard Laminate is hand built in Mystic, Connecticut and features top grade ebony components, German tuning machines, our best quality bridge, and more. This package price includes bridge adjusters and D'Addario Zyex strings. The end of the fingerboard is straight cut (no solo swoop extension). The hand applied varnish is a medium dark walnut color. A bass bag is not included.
