This is a George Benson GB10 in good cosmetic condition considering its age. The S/N is H8505G2 which according to the Ibanez web site was made in the Terada Plant in Japan in 1985.
The guitar sounds and plays like it should which is excellent. There are some cosmetic flaws which may not show up clearly in the pictures. I'll try and list them here:
There is some crazing in the finish in the plastic part at the bottom of the neck heal where it joins the body (no structural issues just the finish)
There is a hairline crack in the finish at the base of the neck
The pickups have lost some gold plating at the edges
The tail piece has lost some gold plating and has some light pitting
The fret wear is very light and shows on only a few frets on the B and G stringsThere are a few other minor scratches and dings
The case is serviceable and in pretty good shape on the outside but the inside material has worn off in a few places down to the foam.So here's a chance to get an excellent sounding and playing jazz guitar at a bargain price.
