Here's my 1929 NATIONAL Triolian. These originally were made with Bakelite necks which, by all accounts, were pretty horrid and few survive. This was restored in 1999-2000. There is a message inside the body from the restorer:1929 Bakelite-less Neck Triolian. Original Biscuit. Everything new inside + out 1999-2000. J PIPPIN.I bought this from a professional dealer who told me he'd bought it from the US where the restoration had been done. The body is original. the biscuit is original, everything else is restoration although the tuners look period and the refinish follows the original pattern and looks great. Set up for slide, plays great, sweet and subtle sound. There's a little rough patch on the back of the neck where the finish appears to have reacted with a stand but it would polish out if desired. The paint has flaked away under a few of the coverplate screws but no major issues. It comes with a hard shell case, aluminium edged and blue plush linings, probably 1970s and a good fit, all clasps fine etc.Payment by Paypal, please, email for other methods. Collection fine by prior arrangement.I work hard for my 100% feedback rating as a buyer and seller for 15 years on eBay so please ask any questions and I'll do my best to answer them.
