Up for sale is my PRS Custom 24 in Tobacco Burst finish. If I remember correctly from a few years ago when I bought this, it's a 1996 10 top model. I'm guessing it has a wide thin neck. I'm no expert when it comes to PRS necks. I haven't played enough of the different neck styles to know the difference by feel. But it seems slightly on the thinner side to me and it doesn't seem to have a narrower "pattern regular" type of nut width. I'd put the cosmetic condition at about 8 out of 10 and I'll elaborate on this below. But, since this is a PRS, it's condition and overall quality is still miles and miles and miles above most other guitars you could ever buy, even brand new! I've included pictures of any potential problem areas for interested buyers unlike the previous owner who didn't do the same for me when I bought it. HE claimed it was absolutely mint when it clearly was not. I believe there's no better policy than honesty. This is still an awesome guitar that plays smooth as silk!I'll get any issues, cosmetic or otherwise, out of the way and explain what happened when I purchased this PRS before I sing it's praises. First, there's some cracked clear coat on the edges of the neck where it meets the fret board as pictured above. On the lower string side it's chipped off from the 12th fret to the 17th and on the high string side it's chipped away only at the 17th fret. From the looks of the clear coat I don't think there's anymore that's going to lift or crack unless someone makes it happen very intentionally. I've been playing this guitar for 3 years and it's still in the same condition as when I bought it. No chipping away what-so-ever. There's some patina on the bridge and a few of the pickup bobbins. Nothing severe and nothing that affects the sound or feel. The bridge feels great and the pickups are astounding. HFS and Vintage Bass, I'm sure. Some of the best pickups I've ever heard. There's some slight fret wear on frets 2 thru 6 underneath the B and G strings. Still, the frets are %95 sound and intact with more than plenty of years of life left in them. There's some mild buckle marks on the back of the body. Typical stuff for a guitar this oldWhen I first saw these issues I was extremely angry and started to demand he accept a return simply because the guy lied about it being mint. I decided to sit and play it for a while and was relieved that these issues did not affect play-ability, even in the slightest. Despite the fact that the guitar had been falsely advertised, it still sounded out of this world and played smoother than glass and better than pretty much any guitar I had ever played thus far. I really shred when I play and I can testify that I never feel the areas of the neck where the clear coat is missing. Maybe it's just my technique, but it's never been an issue for me. Even if my hands do happen to make contact with those areas while playing it's not uncomfortable and it hasn't affected the clear coat in three years of playing. So instead of contacting the guy. I took it to a friend and let him look it over, let him clean and set it up properly and we both felt that overall I had still bought a guitar worth every penny and maybe even a little more. Everyone who's played it has been completely blown away first by the way it looks. And second (and most importantly) by the tone and feel from the very first note picked. It's just a testament to the unmatched quality of PRS guitars. As you can tell from the pictures it still looks beautiful and it seriously plays like a dream. It's also to the age that it's getting that vintage vibe to it, as well.I REALLY DON'T want to sell this guitar. It's definitely the best guitar I've ever owned and I'm already regretting putting it up for sale as I type this. I was just telling the same friend mentioned above a few months ago that I was going to hold onto this guitar for a very long time, if not ti
