Up for bid is a Fender 62 American (USA) Vintage Reissue Stacked-Knob Jazz Bass in black and red tortoise pickguard. The body is stamped 1991, and the pots suggest a date of 1990 17th week (R137 9017). The tone on this bass is punchy, warm, but sounds good slapped as well. Some Fenders have that mojo and some do not, this one does! It’s in great condition considering its 25 years old. Frets are in great shape, neck is straight as an arrow, and truss rod works fine, no issues. Comes with the original blond tweed Fender case. I do not buy garbage nor do I pass problems on to others players. Check my feedback. I have all the case candy including the pickup covers, unused strap, and the ORIGINAL MUTES UNUSED!!!!!!! Alder body Maple neck with East Indian rosewood Fingerboard, Nitro finish Vintage Red Tortise shell pick guard and thumb rest Stacked knob controls: each pickup has a volume and tone Black Nitro lacquer finish Vintage hardware 62 US vintage single coil pickups with cloth covered wiring Grounding strip Comes with original mutes (never used) and both pickup covers and original 60's style strap.
