They easily slip off if you prefer.I will have a new 3rd slide stop rod installed within a day or two and definitely before shipping.This trumpet will be thoroughly cleaned internally before shipping although it's already clean now, I'll do
it once again to be sure. Valves are smooth and good compression. You will be able to pick up a mouthpiece and head out to rehearsal when it arrives. 3 final notes on performance:
You will feel a strong tone vibration from the bell tube transmitted through your left hand;
Perfect intonation at double Hi C;
While slightly warm in tone, projection is outstanding, meaning it can pretty much peel paint. RETURNS: For this particular trumpet, I only ask that if you feel it necessary to make a return request that you do it based
solely on playability and performance. I also ask that you understand you're getting a trumpet
with a slightly warm tone due to the high copper bell. So there won't be a return based on minor
blimishes or on brilliance of sound, since it's slightly warm-smokey in sound color.
The trumpet has just been clear lacquered this week to protect against corrosion or aging. SHIPPING: We normally ship by U S Post Office but can accomodate other needsNOTE: this auction might end late at night since I'm 4 hrs earlier than the east coast, so
