Very old and interesting violin you can imagine and for a unbelievably low price! This very old and attractive violin is Austrian made, probably no later than in the middle of 19th century, carrying label by famous Vienna maker Martins Stoss. Violin's back (corpus) size is 35,3cm, which resembles most popular size of many old italian (also Del Gesu)and famous Mittenwald makers, which is probably a sign of beeing made even earlier, in 18th century. The violin is in good playable condition, with some old scratches (it is easily to make them practically invisible with polishing) and wear to the varnish what is quite logical for instrument which was played more all these years! The sound has typically that old italian sweetness, which is so typical for that size. Overall in a good state of preservation, ready to play professionally. This is a part form advanced students made shop where they are selling/exchanging things between themselves. Usually prices are double or triple higher by luthiers. There is a possibility to get also sound demo.
