A Parlor-sized Resonator
Big resonator sound in a small body, that's what Washburn's R360K Resonator Parlor offers in a great-sounding package. This small and comfortable instrument gives you the bright and vibrant sound you want plus plenty of projection, without being cumbersome in the least. The R360K gets its unique voice from the combination of a spruce top with a trembesi back and sides with a resonator cone. Top it off with a full set of Vintage Series hardware, and you just can't knock the sound, feel, or vibe of Washburn's R360K resonator parlor acoustic guitar.Washburn R360K Roundneck Parlor Resonator Acoustic Guitar at a Glance:Spruce topped trembesi provides timeless acoustic guitar toneVintage Series guitars deliver period-correct vibe with modern performanceWashburn has been producing quality fretted instruments since 1883Spruce topped trembesi provides timeless acoustic guitar toneTo give their R360K resonator parlor acoustic guitar an elegant look and a smooth tone, Washburn selected the combination of a back and sides made from trembesi (known in the U.S. as monkey pod or rain tree) and a top made of spruce. On the whole, trembesi has a warm and slightly dark tone that's reminiscent of mahogany or korina but looks much prettier. The R360K's solid spruce top balances that sound even better, giving you a full-range tone that can be both commanding and an ideal accompaniment for a wide range of vocal styles. The biscuit resonator gives the R360K an extra-loud voice with a slight twang.Vintage Series guitars deliver period-correct vibe with modern performanceWhen a company like Washburn (that's been making instruments for over 130 years) decides to make a vintage-style guitar, you can be sure they know what they're doing. Like the rest of the Vintage Series, this R360K closely resembles one of the handcrafted guitars of the late nineteenth or early twentieth century, one that's been well loved and never abused. It' apparent in the R360K's vintage finish and artfully distressed hardware. But, like all Washburn guitars, this instrument has been made using top-of-the-line modern techniques, offering sound and performance that's better than ever.Washburn has been producing quality fretted instruments since 1883With humble beginnings in Chicago that date back to the 1880s, Washburn is an American institution in musical instrument manufacturing. From guitars to mandolins, banjos, ukuleles, and more, Washburn has long been a recognized and cherished brand among musicians. Many of the biggest names in folk, blues, and rock 'n' roll have played these well-crafted, quality instruments. Washburn combines quality construction with premium materials to deliver instruments, such as the R360K, that are ready to perform on any stage.Washburn R360K Roundneck Parlor Resonator Acoustic Guitar Features at a Glance:A Parlor-sized resonator guitarA classic late 19th/early 20th century-style parlor-sized acoustic guitarBiscuit-style resonator for classic resonator soundsUndersized parlor-size body makes this a comfortable couch strummerSpruce-topped trembesi delivers a bright, bold, and commanding soundVintage-looking distressed hardware provides a cool antique vibeHardshell case includedCapture a piece of American music history with this Vintage Series R360K Resonator Parlor acoustic guitar from Washburn!
