We are offering a Conn "Artist" PROFESSIONAL model Bb baritone, Model #10-I, DETACHABLE bell front, serial 756647, circa 1958-59.This RARE ONE OF A KIND instrument was built with PRIDE by and as the pattern reads: “Conn Corporation, Elkhart, Indiana, USA.” It is the instrument of choice for advanced school musicians, instructors and professionals. The 20-I models are difficult to find, but the 10-I’s are virtually impossible to locate as most of their owners do not want to part with them. It has a detachable 11" front projection bell and a .563 bore, three standard stroke side action valves, with a weight of 7-lbs. 11 oz and a total length of 32 inches. This authentic Bb baritone should not be confused with the smaller, poorly made less expensive imports! We have totally restored this instrument in our Pro Restoration Shop, where we have been restoring musical instruments since 1946! It has been cleaned and sterilized, with all dents and dings removed, highly polished and lacquered. It has all new valve springs, felts and corks. Valve plating is excellent with all valves and slides air tight and operating smoothly! Plays like new! This 10-I model has the all of the FAMOUS Conn model 20-I features, except the 10-I has the standard stroke piston, not the short action valve of the 20-I. It is free blowing, highly responsive with beautifully rich tonal quality and fine intonation! This has been a well-maintained horn that is in exceptional condition! Outfit DOES include original Conn #2 Silver mouthpiece, but NO CASE! We accept PAY PAL only, with buyer to pay $75.00 S/H via Insured UPS ground within the USA48.
