For sale is this Gibson ES-195 Rockabilly Figured hollow body in AAA Flamed Trans Amber in MINT condition. This archtop is an absolute rock machine, but can cover much more ground than that! With influences from the legendary ES-175, the 195 Rockabilly is 3/4” thinner and has a Trini Lopez-type non-reverse Firebird headstock. The top, back and sides are AAA flamed maple, and the maple neck is bound with a rosewood fingerboard and MOP Trini-style inlays. The ES-195 is loaded with Gibson’s noise-cancelling P-94 pickups, which are essentially Alnico II P90’s made to fit a humbucker mounting ring. This Gibson hollow body is appointed with gold hardware, Tone Pros bridge with roller saddles, a Bigsby vibrato tailpiece, and Grover 14:1 mini tuners. She is in 99% mint condition, with the only sign of use being a few light pick marks on the pick guard (tried to capture in the photo, but was unsuccesful…see detailed photos). Comes with COA and original hardshell case.
