I'm selling my 56 key Wheatstone Mccann Duet. I can't maintain my skill on it and I play things that are already complicated, like the uilleann pipes.Raised metal ends, six fold bellows, riveted action.....it's plenty fast. Serial number is 29535. You can look it up in the Horniman register....made in the golden age of the Wheatstone fancy concertina, the early 1920's. I think it was made in 1921. It was later serviced by Crabb and you can see it on the sticker in the case. There's a little paper keyboard chart that I think was supplied by Crabb. I'm throwing in a file of tutors I photo copied, so you'll be ready to wall yourself up in a cave and learn this. It's ready to play, bellows are tight, reeds are good. The cosmetics are good. It's plenty attractive and there are only the usual minor scratches around the screws. I bought this on Ebay six years ago.Oh, this is a real listing. If you're going to get on the concertina forums and list it as "suspect," please take the time to contact me first. I will gladly answer any questions you have.In regard to shipping, I'm going to insure it and require signature confirmation. Same goes for international shipping. If you require a super-duper shipping option, like UPS International, we can make arrangements and I'll invoice you separately.
