Beautiful 1880 Fairbanks and Cole 5 string conversion banjo.Vega111/4" pot with original spunover numbers matching pot,original hardware,new no knot tail piece,new renasanse head,Custom 5 string mahogany 3 piece custom neck built to resemble original old style heel and peghead but with all the modern features to allow steel strings.2 way adjustable truss rod accessable from heel end to preserve vintage appearance,solid ebony fret board with binding,26 1/4 scale,old Fairbanks peghead with walnut overlay and mother of pearl star, real mother of pearl engraved inlays done to match original pattern bone nut and raised bone pip for clawhammer style,1 5/16 at nut and 2" at heel,new geared tuners with ivroid buttons,new ghs strings, finished in laquer to match original pot................................original numbers matching neck with original dowell stick included (needs a little work)............Plays like butter with low action an 5/8 bridge,,.................................sounds amazing with 26 14 scale neck and renasanse head................you won't be disappointed ...................sold without case
