Hey all you Daion fans! Listed is a near mint condition Daion Caribou 81 electric acoustic guitar.This is the real deal and it sounds as good as it looks. Includes original hard shell case in excellent condition. Check all the photos carefully, this instrument is an superb example and very hard to find. This is an acoustic electric guitar with a passive slider style pots for volume and tone controls. When I purchased the guitar the pots case appeared to be filled with a shellac to seal it and the shellac had turned to dust. I have never attempted to use the controls as I play it acoustically only. Being passive, the controls should work. I have included one photo showing the pot case wrapped up inside the guitar with the cable still attached leading to the bridge. There are no cracks or failing glue seams, this guitar is as it came from the factory. As you know, Daion is a bit of a legendary marque and this example is awesome! I will ship securely in a guitar shipping carton with bubble pack around the case. ADDITIONAL NOTE: I was asked to post a picture of the electronics so I have added a photo of the pot case, slider pots, the knobs and the 4 screws that hold the can in place. I cannot guarantee that it works but it would not be difficult to repair and all the part are there.
