Its sounds as good as euphoniums of other famous brands,but the GEP-500S is cheaper. It has compensation let you play lower notes closer in tune. I play this euphonium in two concerts and very satisfied with its performance. The photos of this page are my euphonium. If you buy, you will receive the same brand new one. As an euphonium player, I recommend GEP-500S a good choice of wind ensemble.We have movies which have euphonium concertos played with Gloria GEP-500S to show its sounds and mechanics on YouTube.
