The DCPA4 Dreadnought cutaway is a warmly shaded top version of the Performing Artist Series DCPA4 model. Like so many classic Martin dreadnoughts from years past, the DCPA4 Shaded is crafted with solid Sitka Spruce for the top and solid Sapele making up the back and sides. Add to this a satin-finished neck, modern electronics, a unique neck carve, and a convenient cutaway, and you've got a guitar that's downright inspiring to play. The Sitka gives you the power and strength you want, while the Sapele complements it nicely for a well-balanced sound. Fun fact: this is the kind of guitar that will age incredibly well... Sitka spruce sounds amazing right away, but gets better and better with time too. Its fast and comfortable Performing Artist profile neck is made of select hardwood with a black Richlite fingerboard and features offset white ABS dot inlays. Fishman F1 Analog onboard electronics help you amplify the naturally sweet tone of this guitar when you're in a louder environment. At The Music Farm, we take quality seriously!
