Vintage Slingerland Super Radio King snare drum WMP 1945-1946 aluminum badge

The color is white marine pearl which has yellowed evenly. There is a small crack at the seam that can be seen in the photos.This drum has a Remo FiberSkyn 3 batter head and a Remo Ambassador snare side; both in good condition.This particular badge is the aluminum & white cloud Chicago badge. It was used between 1944-1945. The drum features the Super lugs also known as the beaver tail lugs.The strainer is the Super strainer also known as the clamshell. The arm is included but I believe it may be missing the telescoping part. I am not sure that they all came with it.It has the stick chopper hoops with Slingerland Radio King engraved in the top hoop.I believe that the only parts that are not original are the tension rods and the Pure Sound Percussion snare wires.
