For your consideration, this is an original Sony CP-2 power supply with the highly coveted Tamura output transformerThis is the exact same power supply used for a Sony C-37a, C-17b, C-57 of the era and are now very hard to find as just the power supply. If you own a C-37a or you are thinking of building your own version of the Sony C-37a then this is the correct power supply to use along with the correct output transformer to use and achieve that sound.I purchased the power supply without a metal cover, but it is a simple enough project for someone to commission a metal shop to build one for you.The power supply is being as sold as a used unit in very good condition (considering it's age) and it works fine, it runs cool and very quiet with no hum or random noise.Financial circumstances force me to put this item for sale. I am also offering a pair of Altec 436C vintage tube compressors on a separate auction. You will be responsible for any incurred shipping charges, and duty charges. I will insure and declare this item at full value for your protection and my protection. AS WITH ANY VINTAGE PIECE OF AUDIO EQUIPMENT THESE ARE SOLD AS IS.
