Extra nice Walnut 5 string conversion neck for Gibson banjos. Made by Arthur Hatfield of Rock Hill KY.  Walnut neck with radius rosewood fretboard and medium frets. Double cut peg head inlaid with the Gibson script and fret board inlaid with the Flying Eagle with the Mastertone block . Heel is cut for a one piece flange. The neck has a working truss rod but never had a need to adjust it. Looks like bone nut and 5th string pip.  25 " scale. 1.22" width at the nut Double bound with position markers. Fifth string hole area is good and clean, no marks. Back of peg head has signs of tuners having been installed and sides of heel have marks from a resonator. First three frets have some wear but are good. Neck is straight , heel cut has not been messed with and is original. Lag screws still in heel. See better pictures at  Check link and email questions for direct discounts. Buyer pays shipping. Thank You RichardI have to say a few words of praise for the builder of this neck, Arthur Hatfield. Arthur definitely turns out some of the best necks in the industry. I own two A. Hatfield necks and they are some of my favorites. Fist class work all the way! The walnut neck in the ad does not look like its fashioned to be a V neck but it fits in your hand in such a natural way, its just the perfect shape for the human hand. The finish on Arthur's necks that I own are perfect, better in fact than other "top name" neck builders that I own ( and I mean the very top!). Arthur's necks just play great and sound the best. My regular player banjo has a Arthur Hatfield neck and when I see a banjo with one of his necks I know it will be a good one! keep up the great work Arthur!
