This is a genuine Alfred Arnold Bandonion manufactured in Carlsfeld, circa 1940, complete with original scuffed, but sound, case. There are 36 treble buttons and 35 base button making it a 142 note diatonic instrument. As far as I know it has the 'Einheitz' arrangement of buttons and tuning. All of the reeds sound both in and out, but it has not been tuned recently so I cannot guarantee perfect pitch. The reed plates appear to be made of Zinc. The bellows is sound and the body is airtight. All parts are original, but inevitably the buttons are a little worn, and there is some slight lifting of the surface veneer on the top. Otherwise it is in goo condition. There is a neckstrap and I also include a tutor booklet.I have made a number of attempts to learn to play it, but the fiendish button layout has beaten me!I am hoping that a musician or collector can give it a good home.
