Edit 8/23: An ebay user notified me that some of the blue 1272 units actually used modern Carnhill transformers instead of the original St. Ives transformers used by Neve. St. Ives actually became Carnhill but still, it's possible that the transformers in this unit did not come from a vintage Neve unit (as I was led to believe when I bought it new). I don't know how to identify the difference so I have added some pictures of the internals. Either way, this is a fantastic Neve 1272 type preamp in immaculate condition!Vintech - Neve 1272 (Dual 72) Preamp!
Earlier 1272 unit (before they renamed it Dual 72 and changed to black)
Clean, simple design without unnecessary bells and whistles.1 owner unit.
