This auction is for a shop adjusted Yamaha YOB-211 Model Oboe in excellent condition. Yamaha instruments are known for their precision and consistency, and this model is no different. It is one of the best basic oboe models available and is great to learn the Oboe on for its high quality and simplicity. This simplified conservatory system oboe is great for the first few years of learning the oboe before investing in a higher end instrument. This particular instrument is in great condition. The silver plating is in beautiful condition, but there is some wear on a few keys, some scratching on the resin instrument body from normal use, and the logos are fading. The case has a hard shell, with a small compartment for storage space as well. Everything is perfectly functional on this instrument and in addition to the Oboe, you will receive a new Oboe reed, swab, and cork grease: everything you need to get started and take good care of your new instrument for years to come.
