Description
This guitar was made in 1980-ties in Japan by Morris Musical Instruments. If you are not familiar with this Japanese guitar making company, be advised that their guitars have always offered exceptional value for the player. This guitar was the top of the line. Its price in 1983 was 40,000 Yens. It remains in perfect working and near mint cosmetic perfection. This guitar produces clean and sweet treble notes, deep and vibrating basses, all at impressive volume, well balanced, with typical for Jacaranda overtones and extended sustain. In today's world, due to serious scarcity of such beautifuly figured Brazilian Rosewood such guitars are priced much higher than they were priced just 10 years ago. I would characterize it as equal rival to Kazuo Yairi CY140. I have already possessed this model in particular. There is a lower model (MC106) here on Ebay which was $900 USD until quite recently, just before I put this guitar on sale. I can tell you that my price is very good considering the quality of this guitar. Grab it before I change my mind.I added a picture to show the string height at 12th fret, with a canadian quarter dollar, which is the same thickness than an american quarter dollar. The action is very comfortable with no buzzes. As you can see on the pictures there are some room on the saddle.
Specifications:Top: Solid Spruce (90% sure it is spruce)Back & Sides: High Grade Figured Brazilian Rosewood LaminatesNeck: MahoganyFingerboard: Rosewood Scale: 652 mmBridge Saddle: BoneThis guitar will be shipped in used hard case in still good condition, however of minimal value. You don’t pay for the case. You only pay for the guitar. It will be very well packed, with string loosened.I ship to Canada and USA only.
