Offers considered. Purchased for a special group of projects and now I'm looking to turn this into other gear. This Mo76pre is is set up like a Neve pre in that it offers low and high impedance choices on each input as well as the NV cards internally, but the gain goes up to 85db! The VUs are great for a fast level check and light up perfectly. Faceplate is real wood. If you know the "in your face" sound of 1176 comps, then these two channels might sound familiar to you. I'm going to try too include an audio example of this pre on two ribbon overhead mics. Will be very carefully packed. Please note: Shipping only to U.S. Thanks!

Description:
This two channel preamp is a Frankenstein of our Mo73pre and the MoFET76. The Mo76pre preamp is identical in functionality to the Mo73pre. They also share the same preamp stage with two BA283NV cards. The difference lies in the output stage. The Mo76pre uses the same Class AB push-pull output stage that is in the MoFET76 and same output transformer. It also uses a similar input transformer resulting in a broad, open, aggressive and almost electric sound. Since we used 2 of the preamp cards, there is a massive amount of gain like in the Mo73pre, capable of driving the quietest ribbon microphones. We could not be happier with this preamp and the unique tone that it offers.
