Need a bass clarinet for the coming school year? Take a look at this one. It's a Yamaha, so it's nice-quality instrument for a beginner. We paid a little over $2,500 new for it in early 2012, and my daughter played it for a year and a half before permanently departing the world of music (well, besides listening to Spotify) for sports. Comes with a Yamaha 4C mouthpiece.Took the instrument to the shop last fall for cleaning and any required maintenance, then put it up, and it hasn't been played since. Instrument is in nice shape; original case has come scuff marks, but that's middle school for you.Please let me know if you have any questions. I'm not a woodwind expert (sorry, former trumpet player), but I'll ask my daughter!
