Greetings,Item Description: Here's another incredible piece of equipment folks. I'd like to point out that lefty instruments at that time were mostly custom orders so you won't see many of those floating around! Beautiful sunburst finish and maybe award winning sound out of this one - believe it or not. The guitar has never had any breaks/repairs and it's all original. I have personally examined and blacklighted the instrument and it's all there. The pots are clean and fully operational, the tar back pickups are strong and the coil split works as everything else. It's a great guitar and it will make someone very happy. I don't have a case for it but I have shipped many so I guarantee its safe arrival to your home. More details below:NOTE: The guitar has ALL the original/period correct knobs on it now. The one in the photos that is different is not included with the sale.1) Headstock - It will show wear from being against a wall, you'd see smudges and scratches on the face most likely because of strings' ends and you'd see some indentations around the edges. Nothing problematic, honest player's wear for such and old guitar. No breaks/repairs, no overspray! Strong original tuners. Good and original nut. Serial 731870182) Neck - Finish wear on the back from playing. No alteration of shape. Nice and comfortable slim taper showing few scratches at the 3rd and the 9th fret. Not a big deal while playing as they are not deep. No breaks/repairs/alterations. Worn but solid binding, no splits. About 50% fret life left. The frets are flat but they are not buzzing and the guitar doesnt fret out while bending (I like playing it very much although I am a right handed. It's sound is simply captivating!). The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully operational and the action is low. Solid neck inlays. No neck joint issues/splits. The truss rod cover is chipped but stays in place securely.3) Body - The guitar's top will show many surface impressions that are very small but visible usually where your left arm rests, by the knobs and by the coil switch. There are pick swirls to be seen on the pickguard and the area around it. There are few dings but the bridge tone control but there are no cracks/splits or structural issues. 2 scratches in the burst part. The back will show scratches and dings as the top but nothing excessive. Typical player's wear for almost 40 years old guitar. The sides are in similar shape, the most definite surface wear would be at the side of the lower bout but again, no cracks, no issues.4) Electronics&Hardware - ALL original, less 1 knob.5) Case - N/a. Will be packed safely. Also, free you receive my personal set up with 10's - including new strings, fretboard clean up, fret polish, my personal action set up&intonation, electronics clean up and truss rod adjustment ($100 value minimum). The guitar is stage ready. Thanks!
