For your consideration is a  Fender American Standard Stratocaster Limited Edition, Custom Warmoth Neck, Left Handed It has the following options and upgrades: -Left Handed -Limited Edition Lake Placid Blue Finish -Custom Warmoth Maple Neck, Fully Scalloped ($440.50 upgrade, see specs below) - Non-Fender Hardshell Case Included  Here’s an amazing American Standard Limited Edition Stratocaster.  This is a limited edition that came in Lake Placid Blue a few years back, which is a very beautiful metallic finish.  According to Google, only 200 of these were made left handed.  This is one of them.   This guitar was part of a custom project that started with a fully loaded body from a well-known Ebay store and music supplier called “Stratosphere.”  This particular store parts out brand new guitars and often times you can see all the parts from the same guitar in various auctions.  It makes life easier for people that are working on custom projects, as you do not have buy an entire guitar for just the parts you need.  You can see in the pics that the guitar still has the inventory label from seller.  The factory neck and case sold in a separate auctions at the time; but I wasn't interested in those parts anyway for a few of reasons.  First, I wanted a guitar with a maple fretboard to create a better color contrast with the blue finish than the factory rosewood fretboard it originally had.  It looks much much better with the maple fretboard and most people agree with that.  Second, I wanted a different fretboard radius, fully scalloped with jumbo stainless steel frets.  Finally, I didn't need the factory case as I had many spare cases at my disposal.   So a phone call was made to Warmoth to order a custom replacement neck.  In my opinion, Warmoth necks are way better than what Fender builds.  By the way, they are licensed by Fender, so the fit is perfect.  These are the specs of the neck: -Warmoth Pro Angled Strat Neck (which eliminates the need of string trees!) -Left Handed - 25 – 1/2 “ Scale -Maple Neck and Fret Board -Standard Thin Back of the Neck -6100 Jumbo Stainless Steel Frets -Schaller (25/64” 11/32”) Mini Locking Tuners in Black Finish -Compound Radius - Black Dots -Fully Scalloped (to complete the “Malmsteen” part of the guitar) -GraphTech Black TUSQ XL Nut, 1-11/16” Nut Width - Truss Rod Access on Guitar Neck The neck cost $450.50 plus shipping.  If you know anything about Warmoth, their parts are extremely well manufactured.  This neck feels and looks better than any regular production Fender neck I’ve seen (Fender custom shop is a different story for obvious $$$$$ reasons). The custom scalloping that Warmoth did is PERFECT.  With the scalloped fretboard and the SS jumbo frets you are NEVER touching the fretboard.  This is a serious neck for a serious guitar player.  The strings slide on top of the SS fret like a pair of skates on ice.  Everything about this neck is effortless.  The scaller mini locking tuners are one of the best out there.  That upgrade alone was $90.00, but worth every penny.  Takes very little effort to bring the strings to pitch with these tuners, and replacing the strings is twice as fast as you do not have to wound the string around the posts more than a quarter turn.  And more importantly, the guitar stays in tune better because the tuners lock the strings in place.  So playing with the whammy/tremolo bar is much more stable.  One more thing that helps the stability of the tuning is that fact that this is an angled strat neck.  The angle keeps the strings pressed against the nut, so no need for string trees. And with the locking tuners when you do bends the strings are more stable.  The GraphTech nut is very slippery, so the strings slide over it faster which improves tuning stability. All these things together, this neck is light years ahead to what this guitar came with from the factory or any other regular productio
