I had this beauty custom made by James Trussart and had an upgraded resonator cone added. I am the original owner and Certificate of Authenticity includes my name and note from James himself. I have kept this guitar in my home studio and it is meticulous maintained. I am including a brand new Hosa Stereo Splitter and 9 volt battery so buyer can immediately run guitar through acoustic and electric amplifier at once. Guitar is awesome played as traditional resonator (i prefer brass slide with this guitar), run through acoustic amp, electing amp (I recommend a lower power tube amp pushed a bit), or combined electric and acoustic amps together. The magnetic pickup has a great clarity and definition, and when plugged into an acoustic amp, sounds remarkably natural with tons of output, but can also be overdriven for loud heavy delta blues sounds.The Fishman pickup installed at the cone provides a richer, warmer, acoustic sound. It doesn't take long to realize the enormous amount of versatility this combination is capable of.With separate volume and tone controls for each pickup, you can run 2 completely discreet amplifiers at the same time. One amp could set one up for distortion or used with guitar effects boxes, one for clean tones.
