Specs:Top - Italian SpruceBack and sides - Honduras Rosewood Back neck - RosewoodNeck - Ebony Tuners - RodgersThe guitar has an excellent rich sound with tons of overtones, clarity and warmth. This guitar can be used for any classical style and has lots of volume and dynamics to offer! I was able to make the guitar open a lot over the first years and it was always a pleasure to perform with the guitar. This is a 7-strings guitar which is slightly unusual, but it is really a technical advantage! I recommend to tone the 7th string in D. This will open up a new world when playing Back, pieces which normally require drop D-tuning etc. With the extra D string you don´t have to tune down your 6th string which will make finger positions for your left hand a lot easier. Having the 7th string in D will also influence the overtones in general making the guitar sound richer over all. Hardcase is included. Here is a link where you can see me playing the guitar and get an impression of the tone quality: http://www.nrk.no/video/PS*68685Please let me know if you are not able to open the link. Here are some words from the guitar maker: Grand Concert (standard)Although not all are precisely the same, this series of guitars is based on a lattice strutting system. The sound is full and there is plenty of volume. Despite the development of this type of guitar for power, my focus is on the sound quality and I aim to have a good variety of available nuances. What excites me about these guitars is that they can have so much variety driven by the right hand from a much smaller area of string than is normally seen by a player on a more traditional spruce guitar, i.e.., you can keep your hand in more or less the same place but be able to manipulate the sound by the angle of the finger nail, for example. My preference is for a guitar that does not peak too early in dynamic response, so I build them to have some resistance to play against, which varies according to the player I make it for. I encourage my players to not hold back with my guitars.
