This box is everything you have ever wanted and then some. It is an eq, 4 compressors in one, and two very expensive sounding mic preamps with a very rich, pristine sound. All buttons, knobs, lights work to perfection. This was handmade by Ted Fletcher the chief engineer behind many legendary studio compressor/pre/eq's. All parts were put in to his tastes. He for a short time started his own line of pro studio processing equipment, putting only the best components as he saw fit. Even if just using the compression for mix/master bus compressor you really wouldn't be dissapointed although that is not it's purpose. He still supports his products and does all repairs personally for only the cost of shipping. New, these went for upwards of $2500 and were always hard to come by, this compressor uses OPTICAL COMPRESSION like the (LA2A, CL1B), known for their character and smoothness.
